Pass Plus is a scheme aimed at improving your driving skills and to make you a safer driver. It also helps to reduce the insurance costs for newly qualified drivers.
The scheme has been developed by the DSA to help prevent accidents. One driver in five has an accident within the first two years of driving!

Taking the Pass Plus course will allow you to get cheaper car insurance from participating insurance companies. Colin will provide you with a list of such insurance companies to contact.
The aim of Pass Plus is to
- develop existing skills
- acquire new skills and knowledge
- develop anticipation skills and to plan/deal with hazards safely
- help reduce the risk of having a crash
- maintain a courteous and considerate attitude to other road users.
The course will be passed by the participant when their instructor has considered that they have achieved or exceeded the standard of driving required within each module.
Later you will receive a well deserved Certificate of Completion
Condition:
The Pass Plus course must be taken within 12 months of passing your driving test.

4) Night Driving 5) Dual Carriageway Driving 6) Motorway Driving |
